Plumb Hill Playing Fields, Inc. was created in 2004 in response to the generosity of a small group of donors, in particular the late Sunny Seherr-Thoss, whose dream it was to enhance the public school athletic facilities for the children of Litchfield. As a result, new soccer, field hockey and softball fields were developed and a world class track was installed on the Plumb Hill campus. Our organization is commited to ensuring the proper use, maintenance and enjoyment of the facilities by all those who use them. Most importantly, it is our best intention to honor and preserve the gift given to the community of Litchfield.

Special recognition to O & G Industries for the annual donation of lights, Litchfield Bancorp for sponsorship funds and "Friends of Plumb Hill Playing Fields" for all their efforts in organizing and staffing the Cowboy Cafe as well as providing a fun experience and great food fare for everyone!
